Inktober 21-22. Hero Beacon
“Holy Swiss cheese, Heromouse! The mice of Cheddar need your help!”

Inktober 21-22. Hero Beacon
“Holy Swiss cheese, Heromouse! The mice of Cheddar need your help!”

Inktober 19-20. Confused Lounge
Hammock nap? Hammocknapped.
I’m behind, but Inktober ain’t over yet!

Inktober 16-18. Gangly Contraption Flightless
π΅Those magnificent mice in their flying machines!π΅
Aerospace engineers, look away! I ghosted π» Inktober for a few days, but it isn’t over yet! So here it is: a gangly flightless contraption.
This prompt combination made me think of “Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines” (the entire movie is free on the Tube of You). The goggles and scarf are a tribute to Snoopy, everyone’s favorite cartoon aviator.

Inktober 14-15. Lady Hooray
This combination of prompts made me think of Dolly Parton. I’m actually more familiar with her Imagination Library than her music (former library assistant)! There’s a very happy mouse holding a book in the audience. π
Also, in over twenty years of drawing Lab Mice, I think this is the first time I have EVER given a mouse hair!

Inktober 12-13. Toss Flimsy
I drew the saddest-looking frisbee.

Inktober 7-9. Ram Mystical Rescue
Or, “Mystical Ram Rescue”. It took me a while (up to putting pencil to paper) to decide who would be the rescuer and rescuee, but the ram had a flower crown in either scenario. πΈ
Ideally, a rescue attempt does not cause more injuries than what necessitated it in the first place. π¬

Incense Inktober 10. Candle
“Light the lamp, not the rat!”
The perils of candlelight services. I may repost this at Christmas and Pascha as a PSA. π

Inktober 7-8. Panic Stinky
There’s a lot of tomato juice in Mouse’s future.

Incense Inktober 6. Creature
It’s a three-panel comic, so keep swiping!
Ah, Cthulhu…he’s just a big ol’ CUDDLEfish. (Although I drew him more like an octopus)

Inktober 3-6. Miniature Cactus Smack Ogre
This is the combo that convinced me to mash up Inktober prompts. π
